Webinar: Turning the Tide for Semiconductor Manufacturing in the U.S.

As Congress is considering legislation that calls for substantial investments in domestic semiconductor manufacturing and research, a new joint study by the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) and Boston Consulting Group (BCG) analyzes the impact of these proposed federal incentives on domestic semiconductor manufacturing. The report, titled Government Incentives and U.S. Competitiveness in Semiconductor Manufacturing, finds robust federal incentives would reverse the decades-long trajectory of declining chip production in America and add many new major semiconductor manufacturing facilities as well as thousands of high-paying jobs in the U.S. over the next 10 years.

Please join a panel of industry experts for a conversation about the report and what it means for the future of domestic U.S. semiconductor manufacturing. Speakers include Antonio Varas, Senior Partner & Managing Director at BCG; Raj Varadarajan, Senior Partner & Managing Director at BCG; James Lewis, Senior Vice President and Director, Technology Policy Program at the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS); Greg S. Slater, Vice President, Manager, Intel Policy and Technical Affairs Organization at Intel Corporation; and Falan Yinug, Director of Industry Statistics and Economic Policy at the Semiconductor Industry Association.
