SIA Award Dinner Brings Together Semiconductor Professionals for Celebration of Industry

As summer comes to a close, it’s time to turn our attention to the premier annual gathering of semiconductor industry leaders and stakeholders, SIA’s Annual Award Dinner, which will take place on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014 at The Fairmont San Jose.

The SIA Award Dinner, now in its 37^th year, provides unmatched opportunities to network and collaborate with colleagues and peers from the leading semiconductor manufacturers and designers, suppliers, and service providers. Additionally, the evening will feature discussion and insights about the future of the industry and will enable semiconductor industry professionals to share ideas, catch up with old friends and colleagues, and make new connections. 

The event will culminate with the presentation of the semiconductor industry’s highest honor, the Robert N. Noyce Award. The Noyce Award is presented annually in recognition of an individual’s outstanding achievement and leadership in support of the U.S. semiconductor industry. The SIA Board of Directors created this award to honor the memory of Robert N. Noyce, co-founder of Intel and SIA.  Noyce was a scientist, engineer, statesman, and entrepreneur of world stature whose life, work, and inventions contributed immensely to the way we live, work, and play.
