Zach Isakowitz

Zach Isakowitz serves as a director of government affairs at the Semiconductors Industry Association (SIA), where he advocates before the U.S. Congress and Executive Branch to advance the industry’s policy priorities.

Prior to joining SIA, Zach served as the Legislative Director to Congressman Michael McCaul (R-Texas), where he advised the Congressman on policy areas that included semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and research and development. He was a lead staffer for the Congressman in the lead up to the passage and eventual implementation of the CHIPS and Science Act. Congressman McCaul was the original sponsor for the CHIPS for America Act. In addition to technology, Zach advised the Congressman on issues relating to appropriations and others impacting the Congressman’s district which stretched between Austin and Houston.

Zach previously served as the Director of Public Affairs for the Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence (TFI) within the Department of the Treasury. Additionally, he served as a Special Assistant to the Under Secretary of TFI and as a Special Assistant to the Secretary of the Treasury for Advance.

He received a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of Delaware.
