WASHINGTON—Oct. 12, 2023—The Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) today announced Zach Isakowitz has joined the association as director of government affairs. In this role, Isakowitz will work with Congress, the White House, and federal agencies to advance the industry’s policy priorities. “Semiconductors are enabling the greatest period of technological advancement in human history, and sound government policies are needed to ensure the chip industry can continue to grow, innovate, and give rise to the transformative technologies of tomorrow,” said John Neuffer, SIA president and CEO. “With extensive experience advancing a range of legislative priorities affecting our industry, Zach will be a highly effective advocate for SIA in Washington. We are thrilled to welcome him to the SIA team.
