Powering the Future: How Semiconductor Innovation Drives Greater Energy Efficiency and Productivity

Date: May 2, 2024
Time: 2pm ET

Semiconductors are critical to the functioning of the modern world driving economic competitiveness, national security, and technologies ranging from Generative AI to electric vehicles. As industries continue to advance the capabilities of their technologies, the chips used in these systems will need to provide more processing power and require more energy consumption. Managing the increasing energy demands for these technologies, however, involves new innovation in devices like Power Management ICs.

Please join a panel of industry experts for a conversation on how semiconductor innovation is driving greater energy efficiency. Panelists include Alaa El Sherif, Senior Fellow, and Chief Architect at NXP; Jeff Halbig, Product Marketing Manager at STMicroelectronics; Athar Zaidi, Senior Vice President and Business Line Head of Power IC and Connectivity at Infineon; and Al Wu, Managing Director in the Multi-Market Power Business Unit at Analog Devices. The session will be moderated by Robert Casanova, Director, Industry Statistics and Economic Policy at the Semiconductor Industry Association.
